Hi, I’m Sonya!
As a full-time sailor and liveaboard for the past 11 years, social media has been essential in connecting me with others who live similarly and in creating a supportive, mobile network. Social Nomad Media was born while I was cruising through Mexico and the South Pacific with my husband and boat cat. It has allowed me to support the the businesses I’m passionate about while continuing to explore the world.
Over the past 2 decades of sailing and working in the marine industry, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that many marine businesses face when bringing their offerings into the online space.

Hi, I’m Brandy!
For the past 9 years, I’ve been living aboard a sailboat, navigating life’s waves one anchorage at a time. I’m a passionate photographer with a love for all dogs, a perfectly gooey grilled cheese, and cozy nights at anchor watching The Notebook. When I’m not sailing, you’ll find me diving beneath the waves, immersing myself in vibrant cultures, or dreaming up creative ways to inspire others to live boldly and adventurously!
With my background in communications, graphic design and photography, I love bringing client visions to life and seeing the results of strategy driven marketing!
